2022 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm a big fan of David Bell being a Tyler Boyd like WR.

Burks, in theory, is a good WR but I'm super worried about his lack of separation skills.

It hard to not see Mike Evans in Drake London, including his inconsistent hands.

Not a huge fan of Jahan Dotson, he is fine but more of a possession guy than a real threat.

To be fair, Dotson is probably going to run a sub 4.4. He was electronically clocked 4.33 in August.

Burks is Metcalf. You’re trying to draft someone who is beyond human. Going to run an insane 40, but will run bad everywhere else.

London is wild. He runs insane routes, he’s a huge target, but sometimes he’s a graceful hands catcher and the rest of the time he catches with his chest.

Great Bell comp. agreed entirely.

I had no idea Dotson would run that fast. Shocking to me, truly. He looks fine but I'm not sure exactly if he's what I want for the Browns.

Burks might be Metcalf, but Metcalf can really separate on fly routes. Will he be able to do that in the NFL, I don't know. He didn't do it a ton in college against good teams.

London is my favorite talent if he were healthy. Just an incredible talent that could have been a Chase level impact day 1. Freak of nature.

Win cost 3 spots but whatever. We have a very solid team that underperformed for many reasons. We just have to find a way to get better. My first hope for next season is no Covid. It's already wrecked parts of two seasons. No more.

Dotson got so screwed playing with Clifford that his tape doesn’t show that he’s a homerun guy. It’s not that I don’t want him, I just think someone takes him at the end of first because he’ll test really well.

I love Burks. I think the fit here is questionable. Crazy hands though. I’d LOVE to make it work but he’s not going to be the Browns guy.

A friend is a Washington fan and wants London at 11. Feels the same way you do.

Looks like Browns will end up with 5 picks inside the top 100-ish picks (have Detroit's 1st rounder)..

Certainly depends on how the off-season goes, but I'd expect to see a WR, OL, iDL, EDGE and DB added in those first 5 picks... Depending on what happens to Hooper and Njoku, TE could shoot up the list real fast..

I think DL and WR are likely to be addressed first, in that order.. DeMarvin Leal, George Karlaftis and David Ojabo are all guys all I'll be watching throughout the process..

13 is right where you expect some QB buzz to be at, so I'd expect that to be incoming even if there's not really a prospect worth that high of a pick.. At the end of the day, they get pushed up artificially because of the position..

I'd be very surprised if they move Wills to RT. Even more surprised if they move Bitonio to LT
While the WR spot does have significant need..but, the Browns have historically taking WR's later in the draft and/or trading for a proven commodity.. They may repeat that approach.. We all do know that in the middle of the 2021 season Browns were beset with a rash of injuries, COVID exclusions which led to depth issues on the offensive line.. With the Browns picking in the 12 - 14 range.. the O-Linemen who could immediately step in will probably be gone.. so, moving up to the 5 or the 7 spot with a trade with the New York Football Giants might permit them to get their guy:.. The target would be Evan Neal.. That guy is a mountain who has great feet & won't let anyone get around him in pass protection and is a road grater with his strength and athleticism.. It's clear, if the Browns want him... it will cost.. but could be more than worth it?..

What do you mean with Detroit’s pick?

Miami gave up #12, a 2021 4th, and their 2022 1st to move up from 12 to 6 last year.

It would probably cost similar/a bit more for the Browns to move up from 13 to 5 + I doubt Evan Neal is still even on the board then

Hard pass on trading up in this draft

God I hope not. Aside from Landry, has it ever worked? I'd rather take a swing at 5 years of control with a 20-22 WR.

that extra year of control probably isn't worth a pick that could very well be a WR who is just as productive.

Charles Cross is probably the Top OT on the board for me:
