It was 100% awful....and it's one play. If someone took the time to analyze every single play of every single QB, I'm sure you can find one awful play for every single one of them. One play - good or bad - doesn't paint a full picture of ability or potential.

Just no. It doesn’t have to be that one single play. It’s an example of just something so basic.

Someone can show Baker throwing a seed 40 yards down the field to lead to a TD…

I just think the staunch Baker supporter is more afraid to going back than anything else… Some 2020 games is all they have to believe in….

I rather continue looking for an upper echelon QB as opposed to paying this mediocre one going forward..

There’s nothing positive about having Baker Mayfield as your NFL quarterback…. If we have to keep on with this clown hopefully it’s for just 1 more season…. Sooner he is gone the quicker the Browns can start down a better path…
 
Thats a hard NO on Jimmy G and Tannehill. Yea Jimmy won, but not because of him. Tannehill: 3 picks in the biggest game of his life. Yea fuck him. I'll ride with Baker another year and see what happens.

Browns can trade for Rodgers and sign Devante to whatever money he wants.
 
I think we should trade for a high character guy we can all root for, like Watson.

We could all use a happy ending at the end of a season and this guy has the market cornered on those.

What’s wrong with Jimmy G?

Fans can tell themselves “he knows how to win games” or “he put the team on his shoulders” in spite of relatively pedestrian or worse performances on the field.

He’s just better looking.
 
I do find it a little funny that every Baker defender immediately cites some variation of “well he was hurt all year, so obviously it impacted him significantly!”

Yet when someone brings up that Jimmy might be a better player/better fit and should be attainable this offseason, those same Baker supporters race to scream how awful Jimmy is.

But those people are screaming that even though there are numerous reports out there that Jimmy G needs surgery on a torn thumb ligament on his throwing hand and has a sprained throwing shoulder.

Nobody seems to want to acknowledge it when other QB’s play may have been negatively impacted by injuries. Weird.

But not everyone pays attention to the injury designation of another team either out of laziness lol

Honestly though I don't think a healthy Jimmy G is a better overall QB than a healthy Baker... Right now I think for everyone's sake, we just need to stick with Mayfield one more season if we don't find a way to get a Rodgers in Cleveland...

The 49ers defense & special teams won that game, without question.

Jimmy G made some poor throws and some nice throws, but there were some horrible drops by his receivers. The weather was definitely a factor in that game, especially in the second half.
