Baker Mayfield: Fire The Cannons

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
:chuckle:

"3x MVP and Super Bowl champion Aaron Rodgers did something once that Baker Mayfield does literally every game" certainly wasn't something I expected to check off on the Defend Baker Bingo Card today.

The point, of course, is to further illustrate that you can find bad plays from even the greatest QBs of all-time.

One guy is 26 and the other is 33.
What does that have to do with the 2021/2022 Cleveland Browns ?

Hell the 33 year old guy was healthier than the 26 year old guy. That 33 year old guy at 28 was a win away from the super bowl.

Pretty sure by the time Baker is 33 he’s gonna be on his 6th team —if he’s even still in the league… He doesn’t have the IQ to play the position effectively on a consistent basis, and struggles seeing down the field…

Yeah but why in the hell would anyone want to compare Baker to one of the greatest QB’s of all time ?

That’s the equivalent of this…

Nobody is comparing the two.

You don't get hurt holding a clipboard.

You don't get hurt holding a clipboard.
In that case you could have shown the Tannehill highlights from yesterday to depict terrible Baker-like play…

Definitely don’t get hurt holding clipboards….In the case of Baker— the guy got hurt throwing an interception…

The Baker rookie TD record thing loses its luster when you remember Daniel Jones got close to the record the very next year in 6 less quarters of gameplay

When I want to feel good about Baker, I just go search Browns Titans on YouTube and watch his best game where two 8-3 team's went at it.

He looked every bit of having the tools

Or it could be the fact keenum can’t throw the ball past 5 yards anymore. Even terrible injuries Baker was still a better option then the corpse of keenum.
