The morals clause in HOF will determine Little O's election status.. as a NO..Not sure if you guys are serious or just messing around with the Omar stuff.... but based off the voting tracker... he's lost a loooot of votes. At this point, I'm not sure he's ever going to make it with how much ground he's lost.
Yep, agreed. And Kenny got absolutely shafted. The morals clause in HOF will determine Little O's election status.. as a NO..
Perhaps the "Era" committee will be permitted to determine his fate w/r to HOF status.. like his teammate kenny lofton, that's their only chance to be enshrined...
Well for all the Bauer haters that were absolutely sure he was guilty.
Looks like the "soft on crime" under recall petition, Los Angeles County DA George Gascon, couldn't find enough to bring charges either.
Two separate adjudicating bodies, same decision .... Now MLB is in a pickle
Trevor Bauer will not face criminal charges following sexual assault allegation
The L.A. County D.A. declined to charge Trevor Bauer with sexual assault, but Major League Baseball could still suspend the Dodgers pitcher.www.latimes.com
Not sure on that one - I suspect the Commish will be out for more than 15 days.Since no charges and the fact he missed time last season because of this, more than likely at most 15 game suspension, but because of missed time (he missed in total what 15-16 starts) it's likely that he may not get a suspension. Whether or not you morally agree with it, it seems like Bauer will pitch sometime in 22 and like get 30 starts if not having any type of injury...

I am sure they know Bauer is ready to take them to the mat. So if they try to suspend him, they face the specter of their first arbitration case under the policy, and they sure don't want that. Better to have leverage with players not knowing what could happen if they file a grievance, then to have a case go to arbitration lose and open up Pandoras Box for future cases.
But on the PR front, especially with the media, if they don't try to slap him hard, they are going to hear about it.
Rock and a hard place.
But yes, time served could come into play if the Comish is anywhere below the half year he has already been away and TB is willing to accept it ... but I suspect it will be hard to get TB to agree to any length suspension. Just not in that guys DNA
If Manfred tries to suspend TB on a character violation.. he and MLB will lose. Discretion should become the better part of valor in this case.. so, the sooner this is swept away,, the better for the game.. If it isn't swept away.. look for MLB to lose twice and ten times as much $$...The problem is, you could look at all the time missed as a suspension in a sense, it will be hard to get a lot of time out of him even if you do suspend him... Bauer in that sense is smart even if he doesn't have sense in other areas cause he will find the counter arguments to lessen the suspension without a doubt in my mind.
Let me correct your singularity - personSIf Manfred tries to suspend TB on a character violation.. he and MLB will lose. betcha that "media" person will be known & CERTAINLY singled out before the first pitch of Bauer's season,,
