I just finished Blue Period which is about a high school kid who is a punk/genius deciding to go to art school. It was really compelling and surprisingly good. It asked some interesting questions about what is valuable in life and how you should be motivated etc. What is everyone watching currently?

Also just finished the 2nd season of Jobless Reincarnation. It feels very similar to Shield Hero and Re:Zero but more ecchi. Overall, it was pretty solid.
I have decided to go dig thru some sports anime because I need a change of pace and almost all of that genre sucks
Still need to watch that one. I have seen a few others. Ironically the best ones are either anime not about sports (chihiyafuru), obscure sports (burning kabbadi) or volleyball (Hakyuu). The basketball ones all suck other than maybe slam dunk. They get too anime...i mean kuroko's basket literally has a character who shoots like 90% from 75 feet and his coach doesn't just run full court screen and rolls for him. Are you kidding?Ace of Diamond is one of my favorite sports animes... Major is the big baseball one and it has Major 2nd which is his sons story

Death March was okay. Watched the first season when it came out.If you guys haven't started In the Land of Leadale you should... it's a mix of Isekai, humour and an easy going story...
Also I have come to appreciate Death March to the Parallel World... both anime and LN wise honestly. I dont think the Anime will get a second season, though I wish it would...

I also took your recommendation and started watching Ace of Diamond and am about 50 episodes in like 4 days....I need a break. This show is great tho
yea a 12 episode show is hard to pull off.Whats funny is I think after reading the LN then rewatching Death March I ended up liking it more for whatever reason, maybe cause I knew the characters better?
Ace of Diamond is one of the favs honestly at the end of the day... it kept the game intense, but kept it real too, no super powers or abilities like so many of those sports animes have which sometimes just ruin them...
I haven't made up my mind about Major 2nd yet, I think I need one more season to figure it out haha.. I think most anime need like 20+ episodes especially if they have good LNs...

I didn't read the LNs for Death March but I can see why it might be better in that format. I feel like the anime was pretty compressed.
I can deal with an amount of super powers. Not everything is as bad as Prince of Tennis or Koroko's Basketball, but other than Hanebado I cannot think of a sports anime that is as realistic.
At least everything will be in mostly one place nowWell anime fans, Crunchyroll and Funimation have merged and slowly will become one app...
My issue is I paid a full year of Funimation which is the one that's going away. I am hoping to get some money back...
