MLB Lock-Out is Finally Freakin’ Over

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Didn't address a single point I made, and that's wholly unsurprising...

At the end of the day, your lack of respect for players earning their fair market wage makes it obvious there is little point in conversing with you.

You can't get past the perceived excess of someone being paid to play a game, and demand they give at the expense of owners who are immensely more wealthy, intentionally damaging a game and its future because you clearly do not respect the game enough to invest in its future or the players who earn the least requesting a chance to earn more.

Stop saying buzzwords like "cap" when MLB players make a fraction of league revenues compared to NFL and NBA players.

Just grab a drink good fellow and move on!

Lack of respect for which players AZ? I think if you read through my posts you'll find that I see fault in both sides and I would even agree that the owners are more at fault for what happened than the MLBPA. The owners allowed this monster to grow over the years via their own greed and locking out the players when they did was a chicken shit move IMO.

The players are entitled to a fair wage that they negotiate. They're not entitled to any pie and I doubt they even know how that pie is sliced. I've stated what I think is actually fair and that it will never happen because it limits the amount of power and money to the elites on both sides.

What leads you to believe that MLB players don't have the mental acuity to understand the economics of their sport?

Seems like a generalized statement founded in...nothing.

We're at the 2 yard-line.

Hopefully, Pat Shurmur doesn't call for a handoff to a backup TE at the goal line.

You're a real Browns fan, if you get the reference.

You didnt reference and Earnest Byner fumble?

Are the owner's books open? I was led to believe they are not so any suggestions are not founded in fact.

Paid dues for a large portion of my career and never was our salaries negotiated based upon what any owner made as that isn't a consistent trend. We negotiated what we thought our services were worth based on industry standards. Never was it "OMG you made this much so we should get this much".

Right, wrong, or indifferent it no longer matters. They reached an agreement and baseball can finally start.

The Atlanta Braves books are open - if you want to check it out.
