If you told me at the start of the season we'd be in 6th 41-32 tied with the Raptors and with the tie break, I'd be ecstatic.

It's just frustrating to play mediocre and lose while our all star center is injured.

Wtf starting love tonight against one of the most athletic teams in the game? I mean if all the injuries now is the time you choose to start him. You had two days to prepare and that is what you come up with? Be better. Gotta find a way to get Levert feeling good, but no let’s start love? So dumb.
 
Him starting was fucking stupid from the second it was announced.

We basically traded two late firsts for a guy JBB wants to play 24mins off the bench. Heads have to roll for this. Either JBB for his incompetence or the FO for doing it if he told them he would be this incompetent in advance.
 
I don’t know what happened to DG but it seems his all star selection is getting to his head and he is looking at one on one at every opportunity. The ball is stopping sooooo much instead of getting to sets quickly.
 
I know everyone hates the JBB trash talk… but can anyone look at this offense and how stagnant it is and how to he has still failed to figure out how to use Levert. It’s inexcusable that they can’t run sets to get him open in the paint where he has success. Every ounce of their offense is initiated outside of the three point line.. they have to work so hard to score.

Defense has been atrocious in every aspect since the break also.

He couldn't be further from Rubio, Rondo was a stopgap solution to that issue that has failed, and the second unit, which was a game winning strength now plays like a group of random guys.
 
Start Kevin Love to pull pull Khem Birch out of the paint?

All of the nights to try this. There's probably not a worse team to do this against.

They're more than happy to go play in space on defense. In fact, they want to.
 
LeVert has actually looked decent at doing what JBB is trying to force him to do the last two nights.

He really is finding guys in good spots.

So kudos to him being asked to be a totally different player 5+ years or w/e it is into his career.
 
Starting Love and playing him extended minutes against a super athletic team with shooting is such a recipe for disaster.

Almost all of the Raps offense stemmed from the hard hedge that Love does (since he cannot really do anything on defense) during pick and rolls. Open shots after open shots because of that 90s style defense.
 
I get all of the positive vibes about how far ahead of schedule the team is but it's just not gonna last next season.

They'll be 30 games into the season, under .500, and looking at already firing the coach they just gave an extension too.

That's where this is headed.

This extension was a mistake.
