2022 Season | Series #37 | Tigers @ Guardians | Aug. 15-17

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Oscar Gonzalez and Steven Kwan are amazing players. Been awhile since 2 rooks have done what they've done here. Gonzo needs to play every single day...just like Kwanny.
You know who doesn't need to play everyday?

If he performs like this, I don't care about plate discipline, just go do what you know how to do.
He and everyone else in the baseball world understands what Oscar's bugaboo is. It's not like they aren't trying to expose it, but sometimes pitchers miss their spot and strikeouts can be tolerated if you're crushing the ball when you make contact.

This is why you have to see what the kids can do. Everything pointed to OGon being exposed and failing terribly against ML pitching for those that can't get passed the strikeouts.

I follow the guards pretty closely - i post most games - i know who can hit and who cant --- i was flabbergasted when they said that was oscar's 19th double of the season
It wasn't anything more than the flick of his wrists too. The kid has real easy power and he's played a better RF than most of us anticipated. I wish we had another one of him that could play 1B.

Funny part about that rule , a manager can almost ask for a review 75% of the time on all close plays at home , strictly on that rule along if they choose to…..I think a lot of manager don’t because it could comeback in bite them in the ass, which I hope happens to the Tigers as often as it can….,

I too was surprised at OGonz number of doubles. He has only one fewer than Gimenez.
