NFL Off-Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The NFL buried that Aaron Donald story quickly.

It's not surprising, but it is at the same time.

There were major pundits/talking heads literally saying Myles should've been arrested for assault and put in jail and/or thrown out of the league. Donald does something even more extreme in practice against another team and no one really cares, with the justification for that opinion is that Garrett did it on national TV. Amazing.

This shouldnt be surprising at all. We all know the NFL is about optics, not actual actions. If you dont make them look bad, they could care less what you do. If you make them look bad, be prepared for the helmet, er hammer, to come down hard on you. Doing something at practice, without sponsors spending money, limited cameras, and fewer fan eyes, they can ignore what Donald did very easily.

I'm not talking about the league itself. I didn't expect them to do anything about it. I meant the media people and twittersphere that made Myles out to be a criminal and basically laughed off what Donald did.

Could take Carolina out of the Denzel Mims/Darius Slayton "sweepstakes" if you want to call it that.
