I don't care who it is. I'm just pretty comfortable saying it shouldn't be Howard.

If there was anything left in that tank, Buffalo wouldn't have cut him. They have no depth behind Knox, guaranteed Howard's salary, and still let him go.

It pains me to say it because I have always been high on Howard, but he's done. Time to move on.

If the Browns were really invested in bringing in a depth move tight end (which I don't believe they are) then we should've grabbed Armani Rogers as a priority UDFA.
 
I mentioned in the game thread when Stanton got hurt that I thought he was on the bubble for still being in there.

Funny enough my wife was asking me about who was out there and I was explaining to her that we'll see Njoku and Bryant out there a lot and their both TE's and Stanton is a FB. She asked if we needed Stanton with all the other RB's and two pass catching TE's and I said the fact that he's in the game means that he might be on the bubble.

I actually think that we'll go after a pass catching TE more than a blocking one. Especially when Deshaun is back and we're in shotgun a lot.
 
It’ll be interesting to see who we bring in from the outside to finish off the roster

Baker Mayfield is an emotional QB and a frontrunner. None of his little comments change that. His emotional style of play and extreme frontrunning will be on full display on September 11th and we're going to beat him down.

I'm surprised but not all that surprised at the amount of people who are trying to make Baker the Big Bad Wolf. He is not. He is a frontrunner and we saw it first hand for years. We watched his tough talk for years and we watched the results.

I highly doubt that any player on this roster is even concerned about Baker lighting us up. They know he's a frontrunner too.

I am very curious to see how our defense reacts to Baker. Wondering if any guys are secretly looking forward to being able to complete that sack.

It's the least important position on this offense. It became even less important when we traded for Deshaun Watson.
