Wonky game but I prefer our defense bailing out our offense's slow start than the other way around. Couple weeks to calibrate before our next test against Wisconsin.
Not the electrifying game I was hoping from Stroud, but statistically I don't think this derails his Heisman hopes. Curious why Williams seems to be getting fed more than Henderson, but overall our run game was pretty effective so hard to complain.
I hope that this will get them to add some more run concepts to the offense and balance out the offense. I know Stroud could win the Heisman if they throw the ball alot but I think this will be a better team if they have a balanced run/pass attack.
The passing game needs a lot of work, and 79 is going to cost them at least one game, but I like what the defense looked like, and I've liked Miyan Williams since the Clemson win. He might have more carries than Henderson this season.
