Give the dude his flowers for the last drive, but just spike the fucking ball man.
I thought Jacoby managed the game okay. But he missed some big opportunities early.
He seems capable of putting some zip on the ball 15 yards or less but long passes were pretty gross.
I think it’s fair that one of his biggest plays was the absolutely awful and obvious pass interference penalty with the lob to Cooper. Really changed the momentum there.
He’s gotta find a way to get the ball to Njoku and Cooper more.
Forcing us to read Jason Lloyd drivel should result in a ban. Put yourself in timeout.Lloyd: Baker Mayfield, breakups and Browns sweating until the end vs. Carolina

The Browns still have massive questions at quarterback. They could’ve had 31 points at the half with even competent quarterback play, but Brissett missed a wide-open Amari Cooper down the sideline on third down of the opening possession. Then he missed Donovan Peoples-Jones on the next play to turn the ball over on downs. He overthrew Kareem Hunt for what could’ve been a big play down the sideline on a wheel route and he never saw — at least never tried to get the ball to — a wide-open Peoples-Jones running free in the secondary off of play action. And that was only the first quarter.
The Browns caught a break on the fake spike. It should’ve been a penalty for intentional grounding. If I am not mistaken, and I would want to be corrected if I am, that should’ve been a ten second runoff also. That play was hilarious. About as funny as Boswell hitting the upright, though I guess it's good that the Steelers eventually won.
What the hell was the deal with the "fake spike"? First off I thought fake spikes were legal, but evidently they are not, but the refs called it a fake spike and everyone thinks it was a blown call.
I was worried he blew the game, but also kind of excited for Cade to have to win on a 63 yard fg, lol.

Which is why I'm not overly concerned with Brissett. The Browns can manage having a liability at QB until Watson *or even after Watson* comes back with their roster talent. The QBR jokes write themselves
I'll give you the next 3 weeks, but you think we'll take 5 of 7 with Jacoby playing like Jacoby?Y'all realize if Brissett was the QB we're expecting him to be then we'd probably win 9/11 games?
He has flaws to his game and it's probably not going to get too much better. We can hope for small improvements but he'll likely leave some plays out on the field. Ultimately, the goal is to survive and come away with a win no matter how ugly and give us a shot at the playoffs when Deshaun returns.
