Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Caught a bit of that Jazz/Spurs game. If you want to be upset at Altman over spilled milk he made a mistake taking Okoro over Vassell. Windler over Keldon was obviously a big screw up too.

It's only preseason but Jazz are so awful. If they start Clarkson once the regular season begins then they are definitely tanking. Rudy Gay who should be playing on a men's league at the YMCA is getting minutes over Agbaji who got a DNPCD. Wouldn't be shocked to see either Lauri or Sexton get flipped by the deadline as it doesn't appear either one is in a position to succeed on that team. Their rookie center Kessler might be the only long term keeper on their roster. It could be a long rebuild if they don't luck into Victor.
Well they have six first round picks in the next three drafts

OKC might be pretty happy in 2024 though - they have Utah’s FRP then. Be ironic if that ends up being the #1

Hmm, Silver is a fucking bitch.

I love bench celebrations. It makes me happy to see how unified the team is and how much they cheer for their teammates. The new technical foul called on bench standing up is another fucking bullshit idea in the pool of ideas he has had. And it's another rule that it's enforcement is located in that grey area that is due for self interpretation.

Same thing can be applied for take fouls. While I'm very familiar with the rule (from Europe) in the NBA it will be enforced differently, somehow. At least from what I have seen in the preseason, though it's early. But I have no faith in the refs/system to not take advantage of the grey area rules for their convenience.

I actually like it if it plays out like this……..

Sexton looks much less athletic so far. He is trying to fit in, but it's awkward

We did Markannen dirty. Poor guy...
I saw a lineup where Kessler, Olynyk, and Markk were playing together. What a mess. Kessler actually looked the best of that group although Lauri scored some points. The tower city lineup obviously works so much better with Allen and Mobley. They started the game with Sexton trying to play off Clarkson who for whatever seems to have the green light on that team but of course it's a brilliant tanking strategy.

Unfortunately for Lauri and Collin the pieces don't fit and they are pulling all the stops for Victor. Kinda feel bad for them until I think about their contracts.

If Collin has really lost significant athleticism he might now be on an almost untradeable contract

It is normal that NBA players move at 80% of their speed at first, coming back from injuries like that. Wouldnt worry about his lack of speed just yet.

Listening to Simmons and some of these other media types it's possible some teams are going to be giving players away by the deadline to join the Victor tank.

Good for us?
With Love and LeVert's expiring money, absolutely.

Imagine a world where the Raptors seriously underachieve and decide they're willing to move OG at a discount to get in on the sweepstakes...wet dream, I know.

We will have a hard time being competitive for good players being given away because we no longer have draft capital available

2 seconds this year isn’t prime, but we’ve seen teams accept 2nd round picks and cap relief for useful, albeit overpaid players in the past.
