Sextons not a guard? And they still have Conley
 
I saw Sexton's boxscore from last night: 5 pts/7 assists/4 rebounds which was very unCollin and about the same as Conley's 7/7/4. It appears they are trying to change Sexton's game in Utah with Conley as the mentor. Should be interesting I guess to see how that goes once the real games begin.

Lauri was 21/10 and should be Utah's top scorer this coming season.

His Stateline is misleading. He looks really bad. No acceleration or elevation. He was getting blocked way too easily... he thinks he can jump, but he can't right now.

His willingness to pass is improved, but his passes are slow and telegraphed. He just looks really bad right now. So far it's sad.

Someone like Okpala would be a nice archetype for the Cavs to develop but Koby is apparently allergic to 6'-8" athletic players.
Happy for Delly though I'm not sure how many minutes he should be playing at this point.
 
That is basically a max contract +/- 2-3 mill per year.

That sucks for him. I had knee surgery in college which messed me up... Hope it's just a temporary bump in the road for him. Always rooted for the kid but can't sit thru large doses of a tanking team like the Jazz especially after sitting thru those recent shitty Cav teams.

As for Poole I think that is a hell of alot of money for a kid that was playing in the G League just a few seasons ago. Yes he played well the past 1-2 years but it still seems like an overpay.
 
This guy caught my eye a little bit in the preseason, wouldn't mind if the Cavs scooped him up.

 
Holy crap apparently the Warriors don't care about no luxury tax.
