Game Thread | Game #46 | Cavs @ Grizzlies | Jan. 18, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Literally just lost a game because of poor out of bounds plays
coming out of a time out, with a time out left. The Grizzz knew the Cavs were going for Garland and JBB does not take advantage. Oh well, the boys played hard and didn’t see Love in 2nd half

I know he should have totally inbounded that ball faster, taken two shitty 3s, failed to box out.

What an asshole.
So a poorly coached team doesn't fall on the coach???? You serious Clark?

Fun game to watch, although I only saw the last quarter and a half. Much to my surprise Okoro is becoming a useful player (and maybe more?) and Mobley is figuring out the pro game. Good things ahead for this team IMO.

If that call was not call on Allen the game could’ve went either way bail out call and it happens way too often in the nba

JBB has cost this team a handful of games already this season. Great coaches get teams to win a few games they have no business winning, not costing teams a few games they’d otherwise win.

We obviously win in spite of JBB. We just out talent other teams. We never out execute them. Never out coach them.

I am absolutely dreading a close playoff series that comes down to the wire. We know exactly how it will end and we’ve known for a while.

JB is absolutely dreadful as an in-game coach. Which is, I don’t know… the most important part of being a coach

Wildly awful job by JB. Could have be a monumental win to spur on a team that has basically been treading water since the 8-1 start.

I admire the heart form the team, but Bickerstaff is without question one of the handful of worst coaches in the league. Call a fucking timeout and settle the guys down.

Would have been a great win and Mobley was a beast. That is one of the best teams in the NBA and Cabs were down Mitchell, Wade and Windler... Great second half...Cabs have no bench right now. Cabs can play with the best but still learning...

No, rah-rah motivational speeches and big chains are the most important part of coaching. When players lose it’s because they don’t try as hard as the coach tells them to try

I'm not yet on the "Fire JBB" train but god damn this guy needs to elevate his coaching or else the potential of this team is going to be held back.

JBB legitimately needs someone to coach him.

Great game. The back to back stepping on the baseline in the 3rd quarter is gnawing at me. And 2 failures to inbound the ball coming out of timeouts.

Why not after the Adams put back did we not have Mobley set a screen for garland so he could come off and then either drive or get a clean look? Instead he’s got a wall of defenders and no one moving
