Do you watch any Raptors games? They have no offensive rhythm it's a lot of iso sets with very little ball movement. It's hectic and not something that benefits Scotties style. And yes he's usually their 3rd or 4th option - but he has better numbers than Mobley while having an extremely slow start to the year where he was asked to run point and facilitate while they dealt with injuries.

It's about fit. Barnes fits a huge need on this team that Evan doesn't because we have Allen. You can fill the hole Mobley would leave much easier than you can with the hole we have at small forward - which you are seeing right now play out this season. Having a small forward who can create his own shot, is a very capable passer and is a plus defender would put this team over the top in my opinion.

edit: and because people are mentioning KG in this thread - real recognize real

Offense might be slightly better, but the defense would be much worse. No comparison for me

In what universe is a front court player with a 46.1% FG pct putting up "better numbers" than a front court player making 56.5% of hus shots?

Casual Universe, ie Raptors fans

I've seen the light and been converted. Mobley is a beast. No need to stand on the wrong side of the line just to be right. I want the cavs to be good and want him to be as great as some think he can be.

I love Scottie Barnes and was one of the biggest proponents of taking him two years ago. He has everything I like in a wing as a big wing, high iq, defensive skilled wing with a sketchy jumper.

I did not however anticipate the Houston Rockets having the intelligence of a doorknob and passing on a generational big and the drafts best prospect. Mobley is the best player in his draft class. He will continue to be that in years. We made the right pick.

Deciding not to take a player because of fit when they are a generational talent is how you take Sam Bowie over MJ. Bad logic

He should not wear such brightly colored footwear.
All of their shoes are hideous.

Ja is wearing what looks like shoes with slides painted over them, everyone's wearing multicolored shit that just doesn't at all coordinate with the team colors. Evans actually may be the most cohesive.

Fasion 4 the win!
