Any Burrow calf updates?
All I took from this is guy can afford a jersey from each team.
She couldn't fit within a team concept. Or maybe she played the team concept too well.
I've never questioned this. It's a no-brainer. Keeping high level players around him will be what tests the Bengals.
Good luck with that though. Cincy has the tightest purse-strings in the league.I've never questioned this. It's a no-brainer. Keeping high level players around him will be what tests the Bengals.
The Bengals may become a less successful version of the 80s Broncos.Good luck with that though. Cincy has the tightest purse-strings in the league.
They’ll kick the can down the road further than us and the Rams. They will be a force for 10 more years unfortunately. The Bengals may become a less successful version of the 80s Broncos.
The Broncos had Elway, a good D and... not much else in terms of real offensive firepower.
Most of the time.
In that AFC, that was good enough for a few Super Bowl appearances.
These days though, not so much.
Predicting that the cheapest, poorest owner in the NFL will outspend everyone else is quite a take. They’ll kick the can down the road further than us and the Rams. They will be a force for 10 more years unfortunately.

In order to “kick the can down the road” you need to restructure and give guys more money upfront. That is a very expensive strategy for an ownership group not known for their ability to spend.
Unless something changes financially, the Bengals should not have the luxury to do what the Browns are doing.
I was paranoid thinking Burrow would inexplicably take a paycut to give his billionaire owner some relief and allow them to keep more of their talent. Thankfully my concern was unwarranted. This extension is great news for the AFCN.
