2023 NFL Off Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Steelers would lost 98 times out of 100 to the chiefs and the 2 wins would be due to Mahomes injury

Not even in the same galaxy with almost no upside volatility

Correct, even if they closed the gap a lot, it's a terrible matchup for the Steelers' zone in a similar way to Brady's Pats was.

I remember the day-after-Christmas Cavs game when the crowd roared seeing the Steelers-Chiefs score.

It seems like just two or three years ago when everyone was praising the Colts and what they were doing. The organization is a total shitshow now.

Why not just pay Taylor? You've got your QB on a rookie deal for the next four to five years. That's exactly the time you give a little money to a stud RB.

This is what I don't get, either. They have tons of cap space, and don't have any big expenditures coming for a few years.

That they claim hes replaceable (according to the owner), but are asking for a haul in return just feels contradictory. It also feels like bad faith that they were so excited to have him be the face of the franchise the last couple years, but are treating him pretty shitty when it comes time to pay.

Ballard got so much undeserved praise, and without a generational QB like they had the last 20 years or so, they are just another run of the mill garbage organization.

Just goes to show the difference between the Browns being a clown show and a respected organization is such a thin line.

Irsay is not a sane human being.

I've tried to understand the Colts "plan" but keep coming to the conclusion Irsay must be using Madden to find trades for players with similar overalls with no understanding of the deflated RB market.

This is probably known to all of the guys here deep into football, but as an outsider, I thought I would share or re-share in the case of some:

That’s a 5 part podcast series on coaching involving a Shanahan, McVey, and other young offensive-minded coaches. I am only on ep 2 but love it.

This dude is great w his team breakdowns. He has been mentioned here before but great way to “scout” teams we play or think about the teams above or below us.

These media channels are a nice way to add color to the game itself and learn while passing time waiting for the NFL season to start. If anyone has any other recommendations like this, especially ones that break down The Browns on a game-by-game basis or even all teams’ highlights and matchups, please do share.

I know you guys probably don’t have time, but if we could get @Out of the Rafters at the Q and @CBBI Or any of the other hard core football followers to do something like the Rubber Rim Job podcast, that would be cool. Even if it is more broad and not Browns focused, I think people on the board could certainly make a quality show. Just throwing it out into the ether.

I think the NFL social media guy searched for the gayest picture of him in his uniform.

They could have easily gone with something like this one:

Supposedly the NFL’s Marketing Director was searching for the gayest pictures of him OUT of his uniform.

Chris Jones wants some of that.

Jones might sit out KC opener tomorrow. Kielce hurt.

KC defense without Jones is simply not that good. We have a bit of a win-win here with Jones in the sense that maybe he gets PAID and that at least hurts the Chiefs’ future cap, or he sits out and they lose a game or two due to it. Maybe the relationship sours, which would be fantastic.
