It’s ironic to see so many posters on here mimicking the same criticisms of Mobley that I was pointing out all along. Trust me, I’m not happy to see our future franchise player be so mediocre.

I’ve always had high expectations of the kid. However, we are now at the end of year 3 and he is frankly…a disappointment.

he is averaging like…15 fucking ppg. And all of his points are set up by others. He’s just not good offensively. And let’s be objective for a moment…offense is probably 75% of what comprises a superstar player. Hell, his defense isn’t even other worldly anymore if you ask me.

All in all- I don’t think he’s bad per se, but I’m just disappointed. I seriously think…provided we don’t make any noise in the playoffs…we should consider moving him while his value is sky high. In my estimation…1 more year like this and his trade value plummets. We could probably get an all star level talent for him. I shit you not.

Dude lots of people have been pointing these things out longer than you have, with more detail. You were just the most over the top anti-Mobley ranter, doesn’t mean you’re the only one who saw offensive side problems

under 25 games left which is a shame, could have put some roids into Mobley, copped the 25 game suspension and had a bulked up Mobley for playoffs

We beat the Celts I go to the rant thread and take back every negative thing I’ve said
I wouldn't do that. The Celtics are not a physical team like the Knicks, and we struggle the most against physical teams. Having a hot night and beating them wouldn't really address the problems we have.

That said, we're not beating the Celtics tomorrow night either because they're the best team in the league.

Whether he'll even be able to consistently make 6-10 foot fallaways when his path to the rim is blocked is questionable. He has no push shot, no jump hook, and his touch and accuracy on short jump shots is abysmal. I'm sure he'll work hard on it in the off-season. He might be one of those guys who takes a step every year and keeps improving gradually. But I doubt he ever becomes his own shot creator like Durant or Giannis.
He literally has no offensive game whatsoever.

It’s disturbing at this stage of his development for what he was projected to be.

He’s been disappointing when you look at the totality of what we thought we were getting.

So certain are you.

He's a soflty. Did yall hear his post game interview? He along with everyone else are content with being nonchalant and cool with getting shown up on their home floor. The mentality of this team is just weak. He needs to build some kind of attitude. It will translate in how he plays.

Maybe Matt Barnes and Delonte West need to Eiffel Tower his mom.

I’m glad he’s starting to take heat on social media and on the radio shows.

Training wheels are off this guy….He needs to be held accountable for how this team plays and his lack of increased production when given the opportunity. Especially against quality competition…

He’s improved as a passer and he’s good at moving without the ball and rolling to the rim for dunks. But any time he has the ball more than about five feet from the basket it’s… an adventure

this is why I would have liked to trade him as soon as possible. Because if he exhibits more of the current version of his game, his trade value plummets down the drain. Instead of someone like Trey Murphy/Keegan Murray as a return we will probably settle with Cam Johnson value for him.
