Yep. This was tried before and did not go well at all.

He was playmaking off dribble handoffs for part of the year when Darius was out, and I thought he was great there. He doesn't have to handle the ball much to benefit more from his playmaking. His entry passes are good.

I'm convinced I hallucinated that step back 3 in game 2 now, did it really happen?

'twas but a collective mirage

I don't care if he misses, but shooting only 3 times in 2 games is not aiding the success of this team in any fashion.

but what about his plus minus? Fedor has explained that Niangs goose egg stat lines merely obscure the awesome impact he has had on the games. Same is true for Okoro Im sure. /s starting to think Fedor was right about D Wade though. Team appears to need him to win, too bad he hurt his knee swaddling his baby.

Chis Fedor is not what I would call, "a good sportswriter"

Okoro's defense at least makes him a decent contributor when he isnt doing anything else. I didn't watch game 3 but at least in game 4 it didn't feel like he was passing up opportunities. He didn't really have many. Ball just didn't get to him often jn a position where he could do anything besides pass it back

Guys like Okoro and Strus look almost pointless in the playoffs on this roster with this scheme. The ball movement comes to a grinding halt and they barely see it in good position to score.

The fact JBB becomes so insanely over reliant on LeVert exacerbates the issue. Just another guy playing isolation basketball because, well, bickerstaff can't scheme an offense.

That's why LeVert is still here fwiw. Because he gives JBB another out. Another guy who can just score 1on1 and hopefully does so enough to win some games.

Looking like the Cavs might be able to afford him after all next season.

But the question is, should the Cavs even try to keep him?

I can understand the belief that a coaching change would benefit him, but I remain unconvinced. He's still the 4th best SG on this team and if Emoni develops the way we all hope he does, that will be another guy that should be playing ahead of Isaac.

If he was 3-4 inches taller I'd be all for it as the prototypical 3 and D wing off the bench, but he isnt.
