Game 77 | Cavaliers @ Celtics | April 4th, 2010 | 1:00 PM (EST)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
anyone who blames LeBron for this loss is just too emotional right now. Without the guy we would have been blown out...blame some of the calls that were clearly wrong or the poor ft shooting, LBJ came to play and I hold nothing but praise for him.

Well i'm not going to blame the refs.I don't really want to place blame on specific people, like always we lost this as a team.

I said earlier, it doesn't matter how well you keep us in a game if at the end you do something like that. If he went into the lane and missed the layup, I wouldn't have a single problem with it. The shot he took there, considering his shooting night, was just crazy bad.

While that is very true; LeBron made some truly dumb decisions in the seconds left in the game. He didn't trust himself to drive, nor did he trust his teammates to help win. YES: He played a damn good game overall, but unless he starts trusting better, the Cavs will have a very tough time come title game time.

I don't think trust in himself or his teammates was a problem...I think overconfidence is the problem actually. I honestly think Lebron and Co. can turn it on, as shown by their sudden ability to play amazing D in the 4th. Lebron was 0-8 from three and he rose up thinking it will go in...oh he trusts his abilities...even when they aren't there.

Eh, just beat Toronto on tuesday and rest everyone till the Playoffs.

Im just a little worried about more guys getting injured in these meaningless games.

I'm baffled as to why a time out wasn't called from the bench to bring shooters in. Bron should have to walk home.

The decision to shoot that 3 by LeBron is just mind boggling to me.

I guess he let his "ego" aka his stupidity get in the way again.

He was getting to the rim at will the whole 4th quarter. On a fastbreak, we could have gotten an easy layup, but he decides to shoot a 3 to be the hero and talk some more shit to KG (that he didn't back up).

I know that a lot of times on the road, teams go for the win instead of the tie..... This situation was different though considering we dominated them the whole 4th quarter, so we would have had the advantage going into OT.

Just completely stupid. And I haven't even mentioned he was 0-7 already from 3. Ugh.

LeBron should not be allowed to take more than 3 threes a game. It is just ridiculous the amount of threes he shoots when he shoots them at such a low percentage.

Lebron should have taken the ball to the hoop. There's a pretty good chance he would have gotten fouled and made the shot. Then he would have had a much better shot at getting three points that way.

One more thing...+/- stat is shit!

Why was mo williams not in the game at the end?

Why was mo williams not in the game at the end?

Windy(via Twitter) said he wasn't injured, Malone was just going with the flow of the game. That group got us back into it so he stayed with them.

If LeBron makes the shot, he's got huge cojones and has ice in his veins and "did the right thing by going for the win on the road".

He missed, so now he gets all the associated flak, when in reality the game was lost in so many other aspects.

I'm not gonna complain, I'm ready to hop onto Expressway LBJ heading straight to Exit 23 and stopping at the Larry O Brien trophy store.

Yeah, that was a wide open three after looking at it again, absolutely nothing wrong with going for the win and saving minutes by not taking it into OT.

Don't mind it one bit, I think our message was sent.

Even if he had made the shot, it was a horrible shot. On a break, 2 on 2 I believe, with LEBRON handling it. Like 8 seconds left, not like it was at the buzzer. Just a mindfart, or overconfidence.

And lol at the goaltend, can refs not review goaltends?

Nope. I don't care if he makes it, that shot was ugly as it gets. Unless he's Mo Williams that is not his shot to take in that situation.

But you're right, it was 'lost' at several other times. This game does nothing but reinforce our chances in the playoffs.

true but if he keeps his head, calls a time out to set up a play with actual shooters on the floor we have the last shot and a much better chance to lock up HC for the playoffs.
