Game 77 | Cavaliers @ Celtics | April 4th, 2010 | 1:00 PM (EST)

true but if he keeps his head, calls a time out to set up a play with actual shooters on the floor we have the last shot and a much better chance to lock up HC for the playoffs.

You're not getting a better look than what he got. Sorry. You're just not. Against a set, half-court Boston Celtic D? It would have just been a twisting fade-way.

We're not going 0-6 in our last 6 lol.

I just got my phone charged so I could post... LeBron shot the worst shot he could of ever shot. Freaking terrible.

we were only down 2. we didn't need a 3. i like our chances in OT against the AARP.

of corse not, but why not just get it over with. get lots of rest. get boobie some pt for a change.

I don't think we're going to rest everyone more than the last 1 or 2 games anways.Boobie's pt doesn't matter at this point, however ready he is now is how ready he'll be in the playoffs if we need him.

We could've had it, but we're getting HCA very soon no doubt.

It's a question of philosophy-On the road, a lot of teams tend to go for the win over going for overtime. In reality, the loss doesn't really mean anything so either win it or move on. No point in running our team into the ground for a meaningless win.

We might clinch HCA today anyway. The Spurs are up 8 on LA at half. A Lakers loss clinches for Cleveland.

That's my point. It was a decent look. I'll trust him to win more games than he loses for us, to be honest.

A fastbreak pull up 3, down 2 with 20 seconds left after he has been destroying Boston on the drive isn't a "decent look" it is Ricky Davis/JR Smith-esque stupidity.

It's very important to not over analyze things here. In this game we saw the best and Worst in Lebron. More often than not he'll win these types of games ( he has done it numerous times in the past) and that is what makes him the greatest in the game right now. It was quite an impressive showing by the Cavs in the fourth quarter with the exception of free throw shooting. I think this needs to be addressed urgently.
These playoffs are going to be a challenge but this team is well equipped to face it. In the end they will be ok..

I think we are way over-blowing this. It's a regular season game that proved nothing except that the Celtics have no chance against us in the playoffs if we play with intensity for more than a quarter. We're going to have HCA throughout whether we win this game or not, because we won't lose every game from here on out if we actually play everyone and try to win.

As for LeBron's decision making, Shaq will be in his ear telling him what to do.

20 seconds? It looked like 4 seconds to me.

He went for the win, he had nobody within 5 feet of him, he missed. If you get that space, you need to knock the shot down. He deserves a dunce cap for missing the shot and the two free throws, but I mean, is he really going to get a better look from a timeout? The main counter-argument is that going for a three was stupid, should have gone for the tie, and that is simply a question of philosophy. Relatively meaningless game on the road, either win or go home. I have no problem with that.
