11/23 - Browns (6-4) @ Falcons (4-6) [1:00 PM EST, CBS]

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He's good, obviously I'm not saying Hoyer is better, he's definitely not. I'd probably take him too, disappointing how he's not really taken that next step. Puts up respectable numbers, but this team should be better.

I thought Ryan was on his way to being an elite QB. Very disappointing.

I'd say Atlanta's struggles are a combination of several factors:
1. Terrible offensive line. They've gotten better the last few weeks, but being better than a disaster isn't an improvement to brag about.
2. Poor run game.
3. Injuries. This hasn't been a huge issue this year, but it derailed their season last year.
4. Shitty defense across the board.

Hard to win when you combine those four factors. Ryan doesn't have enough time to throw and opposing defenses don't really have to respect Atlanta's run game. Ryan hasn't been great this year, but a lot of that isn't on him.

God I hate Hoyer...if you are that inaccurate you should at least be able to run and make defenses have to think about you running

Hoyer fans right now

:party smiley 004:

That was a bad drive, but it get's old the way people just scrutinize every single throw, and drive by him.

There's A LOT of football still to be played.

I mean you can't give a QB that much time. Holy shit.

Horrible. No pass rush at all. My gosh

Yeah that was an absolutely terrible pass rush. You can't give any QB that much time, especially not one who's actually good.

If we're judging throw-by-throw, like we do with Hoyer on here, then he clearly sucks right now.

I don't do that with Hoyer. A lot of people do, though. My opinion on Hoyer hasn't really changed. He's a QB who you can win games with, but you need your defense and run game to contribute. He's not going to win you games by himself like the truly elite QBs in the game. Hoyer's going to have some great throws and some awful throws. That's just who he is.
