He's good, obviously I'm not saying Hoyer is better, he's definitely not. I'd probably take him too, disappointing how he's not really taken that next step. Puts up respectable numbers, but this team should be better.
I thought Ryan was on his way to being an elite QB. Very disappointing.
I'd say Atlanta's struggles are a combination of several factors:
1. Terrible offensive line. They've gotten better the last few weeks, but being better than a disaster isn't an improvement to brag about.
2. Poor run game.
3. Injuries. This hasn't been a huge issue this year, but it derailed their season last year.
4. Shitty defense across the board.
Hard to win when you combine those four factors. Ryan doesn't have enough time to throw and opposing defenses don't really have to respect Atlanta's run game. Ryan hasn't been great this year, but a lot of that isn't on him.
