15-16 Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Pretty pedestrian game from Bridgewater. It will be interesting to see if he has any kind of sophomore slump this year.

Bridgewater was a little off to start the game but it was also just a completely awful, telegraphed game plan from Turner.

The 49ers replaced half their front 7 and Minnesota only gave the ball to Peterson 10 times. Next to none of those running plays were designed to press the edge or stretch out their defense side to side.

They didn't get Peterson involved in the screen game and also kept him in to block / pass protect on nearly every passing play. The 49ers were just teeing off on Bridgewater once Minnesota panicked and completely scrapped the run game.

I think he'll be fine with some better game plans but having him throw 75% of the time just isn't a winning strategy. Not with a RB as good as Peterson.

Watched it on mute after the first quarter, for the most part at least. Good lord Dilfer and Berman are beyond awful. Insufferable.

If the Vikings come into this year expect Bridgewater to carry that offense with the weapons he has in the passing game, then the Vikings are in big trouble.

No reason for AP not to have touched the ball 25+ times on Monday. Insanity.

I mean...he carried a worse group to 6 wins as a rookie with no AD...

That's the worst I've seen their offense under Norv Turner, even with all the injuries last year and no AD...chalking it up to the typical Vikings prime time egg laying...I mean they really fucking suck on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday night games

The 49ers defense looked better than expected. Too many were ready to write them off so fast. I think the 49ers are going to surprise people this year. I don't know about Kaepernick yet, but the rest of the team is very stout.

Would not be surprised if they won the division. The Vikings had a tough opponent.

What would you trade for Adrian Peterson?

Jason Pierre Paul on his blown-off hand, "I can't think of the last time my index finger got me a sack!"

Tis true, JPP. One thing you may have overlooked. How is one to lift weights when they are missing a whole finger, half a thumb, and a questionable looking middle finger? Apparently off-season conditioning doesn't relate to on-field performance. Who knew?

Lets go Chiefs! I'm a little nervous I won't lie.
