Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Are we like 100 dollars under the cap. Im thinking that ferry wont sign anyone cause gilbert doesnt want to pay salary tax. Not sure but I think this might be the reason. Ohh well once sasha and boob get back its all good.

We are wayyyyy into the luxury tax already. This should be common knowledge by now to all fans of this team.

The luxury tax line is $67.8M and our current payroll is almost $81M.

No birdman or ET for me :(

Time to photoshop a picture of D Dub and a pimp bed.

I agree. I can't believe how much one guy who has 9 year, reasonably successful career reminds me of this other guy who was a total washout in the nba. That's just how much they remind me of each other. You see it must be because they are both white or something. Certainly isn't their style of basketball.

Isn't Luke older than Wally? If he isn't he certainly plays that way.

They both remind me of Christian Laettner, actually. Though Wally has a bit of Muresan in his game. And a pinch of Jiri Welsch in his name.

actually wally reminds me of dan Majerle minus the skin cancer, ofcourse that be because i live here in phoenix where he is still relevent. lol

I think the Cavs need to add an extra big man who can play C. With Z's back injury making him somewhat of a question the rest of the season along with Wallace having back problems, they need to protect themselves. It would be better if it was a player with experience.

The problem is there's not a whole lot available to choose from. The top option to me would be Dale Davis. An experienced tough vet who's played in a lot of playoff games and could step in and provide a few solid minutes if needed.

One other name out there is Marc Jackson who was with the Hornets last year. He is playing in Europe now and I don't know when his season ends there. A big body with lots of experience and some perimeter shooting ability.

If someone is brought in they would have to be willing to accept their role as the 5th big.
The Cavs should pick up someone just to cover themselves in case these injuries continue to cause players to have to miss games.

Jamal Crawford? Wasn't the Larry Hughes experiment painful enough?

If Z's injury is serious, you have to look at signing a big. Dwayne Jones is simply not going to cut it and you don't want Lebron having to guard 4s down in the post for long periods of time. Dwayne has no skill and doesn't even have a knack for getting to the ball. What exactly does this guy bring to the table?

Unless they are counting on Newble being able to masquerade as a PF like he did earlier this season at times.

Look at the current FA list. Nothing to be seen. Your best chance of improving is going for a trade next season.

Marc Jackson is currently playing in Greece for Olympiacos (my team over here...). He's having a nice season averaging 17 ppg in the Greek league but his season won't be over until late May (assuming we make it to the finals - which we will!). He replaced Lawrence Roberts who spent a couple of seasons with the Grizzlies, anyone knows where he is know?
