Nazr would be a great backup to Z, and there is a nice looking list of point guards there..also, boy wouldnt it be nice to see Peja beside LeBron..that seems like a match made in heaven in my mind.

Peja is a SF and Lebron is a SF: Doesn't work

Peja can play SG and Hughes at PG, but i'd be satisfied with Bobby Jackson, J Terry, Mike James or alien Sam.

I really think Mike James would fit best.

With Peja's crappy defense, it would be a terrible idea to make him play SG and get burned by the quicker 2 guards out there in the league.

Stole the words out of my mouth: don't want Lebron and I ESPECIALLY don't want Peja gaurding 2's

Signing Cassell or Jackson and drafting a PG to groom behind them may not be a bad idea.

I think Rondo or Kyle Lowry could be both potentially very good PG's if they can be more consistent with there outside jumper

2006 Free Agents; Who to sign

mods can i get a sticky for the summer?

The market isn't really that great now that I take a good look at it...

Jason Terry, PG, Dallas )
Al Harrington, PF, Atlanta
Mike James, Toronto (Player option)
Nene, PF/C, Denver (Restricted)
Nazr Mohammed, C, San Antonio
Reggie Evans, PF, Denver

Those are the only players that I think are even worthy to look at.

My God, no way...

Have you ever seen the way Peja performs in the playoffs ? Not to mention he's another slow non defending player we don't need...

Thats a good list but I think there are other players to look at:

DJ Mbenga, C, Dallas [RFA]
Joel Pryzbilla, C, Portland
Marcus Banks, PG, Minny
Sam Cassell, PG, LAC
Lindsey Hunter, G, Detroit

Wow Lindsey Hunter just caught my eye, I likee....

Bobby Jackson makes Larry Hughes look durable..past November your lucky to have 10 games with him the dude is fragile.

If we land Sam Cassell and Nazr Mohammed look out..

Same here... He seems like a great fit for this team either off the bench or starting.

If he were to start, then we would have to have a young PG behind him to develop... Sort of like the LAC situation.

Lindesy is either going to come back to Detroit or retire. Dumars and Hunter are very good friends.

Ben is going to be resigned by Detroit

Mike James has already said that his first option on the FA market would be Houston.
