How long until the cavs have to name thier roster?
Does anyone know who will be there?
Is there going to be anywhere to watch this on TV or the Internet?

To the last question, last year the Summer League games were mostly aired live on NBA TV. See no reason for that to change this year. That doesn't help if you don't have or can't get NBA TV (I do, and a DVR, just to rub it in) but at least you know you have options.

Then i guess your the man to DVR them and post them up here for all to watch.

You will be able to watch some on NBA TV but they show them all in NBA.com, well atleast thats how it was last year...

The Cavs usually announce their summer league roster at the last possible minute. The deadline for submitting rosters is usually a day or two before the games start. But it's not really a deadline like a regular season deadline. Teams drop and add players after that day, players change teams, etc. It's all pretty informal.

There are a bunch of rule changes too--

Four (4) ten minute :)10) quarters
Eight minute :)08) halftime
Ten minute :)10) warm up period prior to the start of each game
Two minute :)02) minute overtime
Each team is allowed one 30-second timeout
Penalty begins on the 2nd team foul
Teams are in the penalty on the 10th team foul or 2nd in the last 2-minutes
Players foul out on their 10th personal foul
Each team will receive two (2) full timeouts (30 seconds) per half
Mandatory timeouts (30 seconds) will be taken at the first stoppage of play after 5:59 and 2:59 of each quarter
A 30-second timeout taken by a team will negate the next mandatory timeout due in that quarter
Timeouts do not carry over

Thought I saw something on another thread about Paul Harris being on the team. Also, Jeff Adrian??

You are correct about Harris, a reporter in syracuse heard that from his old aau coach. i havent heard any other names though. I am assuming Green will be there, and Darnell. Other then that i havent heard.

Who's going to coach for us? Malone?

Hopefully Eyenga and Kaun can come for the Summer League. Any chance?

I am not sure if the Cavs are going to offer Eyenga a contract right away or not. Either way my guess is they will invite him to Summer League, if he has no contract, then his agent might advise him not to go. I havent heard anything about Kahn since he went to Russia.

I believe Adrien is playing for Memphis's Summer League Team, but is in Cleveland for our minicamp.

There are usually about 12 players on the summer league roster.

Here is who I've seen so far, but there will probably be last minute changes:

Guards:
Maureece Rice - Vet from the Bayhawks who is there to make sure that the kids share the ball once in a while
Tarence Kinsey - giving him one last chance to work on his handle and play making skills

Wings:
Christian Eyenga - 30% chance, no decision yet
Danny Brown - 95% chance, no decision yet

Small Forwards:
Jawad Williams - shined in the D-leauge last year.
Paul Harris - might be the best UDF this summer. ** Update ** Never mind. Looks questionable now.

Front Court:
Darnell Jackson (played a lot of center last summer)

Won't be attending:
Sasha Kaun - conflict with FIBA games
JJ Hickson - gimpy back disease

Might compete in some games:
Dionte Christmas (SG/SF)
Leo Lyons (PF)
