If the Cavs get the #1 pick, Irving comes out, and they have him #1 on their draft board than they take him. No questions asked. You don't pass up the known now for an unknown in the future in the draft.

You do not know all these players will be in next year's draft and you don't know where the Cavs will be drafting.

It's very simple for the Cavs now. They need to draft the highest rated players on their draft board when it's their time to pick. No one on this current roster should prevent you from drafting a player at a certain position either.

1. Taking shots at people on a forum where you have 30 posts makes you look like a troll. Especially when you call veterans trolls. Or when you insult other people's intelligence while ignoring grammar and punctuation in your posts.
2. Talking up your basketball knowledge makes you look like a troll. Especially when you use this vast knowledge to argue with another troll. Or when your main insult is calling the other guy the name of a bad poster that he is also calling you.

LeBron had a lot of holes in his game. No jumpshot, no post game, immature, etc, but he had the ability to dominate his competition which was intriguing to GM's. LeBron also had a ton of positives like his athletecism (Irving has athletecism), his passing ability (Irving has great passing ability), his size (Irving is a decent size at PG), etc. LeBron was no more a guarantee than Kwame Brown or Darko, but LeBron came to a team and city that got behind him and never gave him the chance to feel bad about himself. Irving is getting comparisons to Paul for a reason.

Another thing is why would we pass up on Irving just in case we are in position for Rivers next year? Who said we'll be high enough in the draft to pick him and who says he won't have a career ending injury?

You need to re-read my posts. I have never called anyone a name. I said that someone's statement was ignorant, but never called them a name...or any name other than their own. Also, I was simply defending myself, using statements that CBBfan said. As for my 30 posts... that is a choice (to restart), and if you think I'm new here, you are mistaken... I was here about 4 years before you (or 3.5 ; around there).

He was in the offseason, but ultimately it seems he couldn't leave the game. Me saying he will leave to go play with his dad is a theory/speculation. Nothing more then that.

Just saying the fact he wishes LeBron luck, fucks over Florida and signs with Duke like that. He's just as disconnected as the pros are to me. He basically used the same excuse as LeBron too.
