Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Will the Cavs make Casspi a restricted free agent?

  • Yes. He will do better in a Mike Brown system

I want to see him get another chance, unless we draft or sign a legit SF..maybe a coaching change will help him a lot.

I think the Sergey Karasev pick pretty much means that Omri Casspi isn't getting a qualifying offer, unless Sergey balks at leaving Europe.

And now for Casspi to have a breakout season.

No more ass fingers.
I finally got rid of him on the Cavs then he goes and signs with my 2nd fav team. This is great

I guess they think he can be a floor spacer. He didn't exactly bury shots for us. I don't think Scott did the best job with him, though, so he could do better under different circumstances.

I always thought he was playing out of position as a sf. Just a stretch 4 that was hungry to rebound. Keep the ball out of hands except to shoot threes and he will be fine. One of the worst passers in the NBA. I wish him the best. I think he will do fine in Houston as a stretch 4. He gives his all.

If the Rockets think he's going to be somewhat of an adequate replacement for Carlos Delfino's production, they've got another thing coming. :)

You guys think you hate Scott now. Wait til you see Casspi in Houston

I'm fully prepared for Casspi to go off for about 24-28 points whenever we play Houston.

Still glad we didn't resign him though. Would much rather have Clark, Karasev, and Felix.

Speaking of Delfino... is he a free agent? Cavs should go after him. Can never have enough shooting, and right now, the Cavs really don't have a ton of it.

Maybe not this year but soon we may have rotations with Bennett, Karasev, Dion, and Kyrie all in at the same time. That has the potential to be the most lethal 3 pt shooting team lineup in the league there. I think the Bennett pick goes along with the Cavs biting the statistical bullet and going for the paint plus 3 ball game that has swept the NBA. Until Karasev matures, the only issue is if we have enough shooting from 3 and Clark at least showed that he was capable of it last year.

I believe that Del-Three-no is indeed a free agent. He sure can light it up in bunches. The weird thing about him is that there never seems to be any rhyme nor reason to when he goes off. I've tried picking him up in fantasy so many times after he knocks in 4-7 threes thinking that he's about to go on a hot streak......but it never seems to happen .

Still, I think he's worth a look.
