2013 Cleveland Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Would you rather watch 15 games of Weeden or Tebow? It's not even close for me. And both would probably end the same way. But one would be a lot more fun.

Weeden.

Absolutely.

And this is coming from a guy who would remove his rubberized shower mat in hopes that he falls and breaks a hip.

That was actually a trick question. We all know Weeden is going to be benched way before the end of the season.

Btw, Weeden for Sanchez, who says no first? And keep in mind Weeden is FOUR YEARS OLDER.

I take Weeden, honestly. Mainly because of the Sanchez mustache.

btw as far as the logic of trading for a guy just because he is 4 years younger.

in 99 Kurt warner was 28 and heading into his first full season starting . would you have traded him for any of these younger guys

The logic behind sarcasm, however, will never relent.

And LOL at anything involving a similarity between Kurt Warner and Brandon Weeden.

Dude ... a chart on a Warner/Weeden comparison? Next time don't make the chart and re-watch the clip of Weeden firing an off-target bullet to his TE from only seven yards away.

Browns were 5-3 last yar when their overall rushing was 100+yards. 2-6 when they threw for more than 200 yards.

Browns were 4-1 when weeden made 30 or less pass attempts. Browns need to estabish a running game and let their qb not get sacked 6 times.

They could also use a QB who doesn't need superior offensive talent to mask his atrocious deficiencies.

Not any of those guys, but I'd have traded him for Peyton Manning who turned 24 right after that season.

I'd give my left nut if nobody would ever mention Tebow or Colt again.

Id rather see tebow backing up Weeden than either cambell or Sanchez

I don't think Weeden needs superior offensive talent to help him succeed, but I do believe he needs something better than Greg Little as his No.1 receiver.

Weeden isn't Tom Brady, or Drew Brees, or Peyton Manning, etc. But he's definitely not as bad as some people are making him out to be. Terrible first game after a pretty solid preseason, but with the Browns missing key guys on offense Weeden wasn't put into a position to succeed as some may think. (Yes, we've heard this before..)

The offensive line was brutal Sunday. Not just Cousins, the entire line struggled to keep Weeden safe. I watched Weeden scramble out of the pocket WAY too many times against Miami, and for a pocket passer that just can't happen.

I thought Weeden made some good reads, and yes he made a few bad decisions.. But he didn't cost the Browns this game by himself. The entire offense outside of Cameron laid a complete egg. Trent Richardson needs at least 22 carries a game, and it blew my mind to why Norv Turner and Chud decided to air it out that many times when the game was still a one score game up until late in the 4th quarter.

I really can't judge Weeden's second year until he gets his No.1 receiver back in week 3 and hopefully a healthy offensive line to boot. I don't think he is the answer for the future, but for a season or two until the Browns do find their guy? Definitely.
