2014-2015 NFL Regular Season Thread

Hilariously stupid ending to that game. Probably the worst play call in sports history.

I don't know about that, but it's up there. Given the stakes, maybe you are right.

Was a dumb play by Carroll though terrible decision.

Its literally a no brainer. Hand off, call your last TO if he doesnt get in. Then throw 2 passes on 3rd and 4th. Horrible...just horrible.

That idiot Sherman shouted in the camera when they went up 2 possessions, calling out Revis like the classless jerk that he really is. Then his team blows the game.

Meh. Risky play, not sure why he didn't run it. Then again if Lynch gets stuffed everyone says it was dumb to run when the Patriots fully expected it.

Everyone meaning, no one? They had a timeout and two more downs to throw passes..

Was it a dumb play call? We don't know the actual play call.

I would argue it was a worse decision for Wilson to throw that ball at all. He threw it directly into Butlers forward momentum. He looked panicked and the ball should have never left his hands.

I can understand him talking junk to the guys he faces off with but that made no sense to call out someone he doesn't face- especially when Revis ran into the referee in the play. I don't hate the guy but he shows little class and it makes it tough to root for someone like that. The contrast I give for him is Anderson Silva. Silva for so long was the cockiest, most arrogant fighter in the ring but once he stepped out of it he was a class act. Always have his opponent credit and for example last night only had diplomatic things to say about Nate Diaz, who had turned it up a notch in the taunting department even for him. Oh well.

Because of what got just said- fans are great at hindsight and thus if a play ends badly then the team should have obviously done differently- just like you noted it was obvious when the Seahawks lined up that a quick slant over the middle was coming.

They didn't deserve to be there anyways. Packers blew their load.

Glad they lost, hate New England, hate Sherman more.

And on that note, Lynch is thankful for not getting the 2nd down call after a nice run on 1st.

Yeah you right, I definitely wasn't calling for another Lynch run on that play. It was only the most obvious decision ever.

After I saw Sherman's taunt, I started rooting for NE, and I felt dirty about it.
