2014-2015 NFL Regular Season Thread

Re: 2014 NFL Free Agency Thread

No, Brady has at least 4 years left look what he did with that chicken shit WR/TE. Also the defense lost 4 pro bowlers to IR and the offense lost Vollmer to IR. Oh yea that best TE in the league played in 8 games and they still had a great year. There are not declining.

And why are the broncos walking to the Super Bowl? Talib won't play more than 8 games, Ware has been declining and they will be loosing Moreno and Decker. Manning can't throw past 10 yd and that won't change. Winning in march hasn't translated to September ask the eagles and redskins.

Eagles and Redskins also weren't coming off a Super Bowl appearance in which they dominated their own conference.

You'll find over time that you garner a little bit more credibility without throwing out arbitrary predictions and relying on them as fact without any rational justification or reasoning.

Talib has never played in less than 10 games in a season and that was because of suspension. In four years, Brady will be 40 years old and he has regressed in EACH of the last three seasons. Peyton Manning was second in the NFL in deep passing last season.

Could Tom Brady be playing well at 40? Maybe.

Could Talib get injured this season and play 8 games? Maybe.

But the likelihood is not as concrete as you'd lead people believe.

Just an overall horrible post.

Nothing says food stamps like being behind a chick at Wal Mart who is wearing a gravy stained Steelers TShirt

So we sat through a miserable 8-8 piece of shit season to draft fucking powder in the first round. Fuck you Steelers.

Like Archer in the 3rd isn't a luxury a team with our holes can't afford to take. He's like the 2nd coming of Garrett Wolfe.

I love that they took Bryant. He would've gone higher if he weren't playing second fiddle to Watkins (and rightfully so). They never seem to draft exactly what they need.

They need to clean house on the coaching staff and the front office.

Give them this season first. That being said, it'll be hard to convince me that Tomlin ever needs to go.

In the last 3 years they've lost to Tim Fucking Tebow in the playoffs, and finished 8-8 twice. The Steelers aren't the Browns(sorry guys) or the Bills or the Dolphins or the Chargers or any of these teams that have a substandard expectation of greatness. If Tomlin can't get the job done, he needs to go and they need to re-evaluate the systems they have in place which are no longer working. I had a much better opinion of the LeBeau defense 3-4 years ago, but as of now it's a complete millstone and they basically need to have elite players at so many defensive positions or it gets gashed. We rarely have those rookie defenders that can come in and make things happen, cause our guys get glued to the bench for a season or two. It just sucks.

We improved the defense with this draft, hired the former head coach (and before that, the O-line coach) of the team with the best offensive line in football for the last decade as our O-line coach. We have a second-year back that SCREAMS breakout. We have a legit #1 receiver in Antonio Brown after losing Mike Wallace, who looked overrated in Miami. We have a pretty decent second receiver coming in with Martavis Bryant, and that's if Markus Wheaton doesn't take that spot. We also have an unspectacular, but solid #3 guy in Lance Moore. Not to mention one of the Top 5 TEs in football (in no particular order, Graham, Cameron, Thomas, Witten, Miller, Gronk). And a QB that can absolutely shred defenses if he isn't running for his damn life every play like he has been the past three years. Definitely some issues, but also a whole lot to be optimistic about. I expect the Steelers, Browns, and Ravens to all be better this year. And, believe me or not, I expect the Bengals to come down to earth a bit. They lost both of their coordinators, and may have the 4th best QB in the division by year's end.

Heath Miller? Top 5 TE? Really? On what planet? Literally he's like the 29th most valuable TE in some advanced stats I looked at. I don't think he's that bad but he's maybe in the middle 10 of starters.

Per @DpShow, #Lions may consider shopping WR Calvin Johnson; A $16M net cap loss in 2014, but just $416,000 in 2015 http://bit.ly/TMul1i
