You literally never see these kind of trades in the NFL...last one I can remember was Portis and Bailey...crazy.

What are the Bills getting in McCoy that they couldn't get from Spiller/Jackson?

I don't know, but I wouldn't trade an impressive young LB for it.

Reliability that he'll be on the field.

Spiller and Jackson are either extremely injury prone or old.

OTOH, man...Alonzo...they could have gotten more.

A healthy player. But, I agree. I definitely wouldn't have traded Alonso

Spiller is a FA if I'm not mistaken.

This is an epic failure of a trade for Buffalo. The Eagles eat 4m in dead money, clear 8m total on the cap and get Kiko Alonso who makes under a mil. The Bills take on an 11m RB. Lots of running backs available.

Might've blown their shot at resigning Hughes too, which is good for the Browns

Zero chance of Hughes returning to Buffalo now. They have to get a QB still and they need a huge makeover on the offensive line.

I think Manuel is their guy for this season at least.

Oregon can't win a National Championship, so now Chip is trying to win a Super Bowl with them.

Mariota will be the next Duck in Philly.

I could give two shits that Ginn was a Buckeye, but why the hell are we not bringing him in for a look? It makes no sense that an offensively challenged team is leaving yards on the field by completely surrendering any return possibility.

Hearing, and let me know if this is old, that the Bills like Hoyer.... They won't ask him to throw a ton.
