Has everyone not said their peace now at this point?
Hell, my quote regarding Harden versus Irving on this team was a paragraph or more about playoffs, fit with LeBron, and opportunity given.
Yet, it has now been sliced up and quoted so that all that remains is "I, too, would take Kyrie over Harden" which does not include the entire comparison, much less the entire thought.
That's grossly unfair, yet I've been tagged and quoted on it 20 times to what end? Shortened and used to make some kind of point on the tirade?
I've explained my thought.
At the end of the day, can we not approach this in a more civilized way? Why are the rebuttals in this thread becoming increasingly personal, and I'm not even talking about toward me.
It seems to me that the opinions are all out there and if someone wants to scroll through and read them, God bless them, it's available to do so.
@TyGuy, there's no reason to restate your argument multiple different times saying the same thing different ways. I've read them, as we all have. The loop is only going to lead to more people defending themselves out of instinct. We have no beef, truly.
We get it. Let's move on people. People are going to agree on some things, disagree on others.
As long as topics are relevant and it doesn't get personal, I'm pretty sure people can post what they want here. That's a good thing. Someone complimenting a player or criticizing a player has nothing to do with another poster, as @gourimoko has taken unfair heat for. A week ago, I made a comment about a specific post and said there was no reason to play traffic cop while the Kyrie frustration was showering in. That was unfair, so I took a break from the thread to settle; there's no reason to attack a fellow poster so I took a "walk," if you will.
A discussion on what a poster does or does not do in each player thread is ridiculous. The only one you can hold accountable for content is your damn self.
Let's bury it, my doods.
