Guys, we're not going to argue the shape of the earth in this thread going forward.
Seriously... the flat earth stuff is getting old, fast.
Ky has an outside shot at the ASG MVP.
Halftime: 11 points on 4-5 shooting (3-3 from three), team-high 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 1 steal ... game-high +14.
If he gets a 20-30 point triple-double, makes a few clutch plays and the East wins, he could be in line for ASG MVP #2.
Let's also not forget that LeBron also looks motivated to win the award. It wouldn't be unprecedented for teammates to be co-MVPs.Yeah, if the East wins I think it's going to be either him or LeBron.
Especially since they will both close the game in competitive time and one will make sure the other gets fed.
I don't think Vegas will allow it.Let's also not forget that LeBron also looks motivated to win the award. It wouldn't be unprecedented for teammates to be co-MVPs.
It happened in 1993 with Stockton and Malone.
LeBron has 20 points. Kyrie doing a little bit of everything.
It all depends on what happens in the last five minutes, but I wouldn't rule out a co-MVP either if the East wins.
The all star game means dick though. I don't even bother watching it. Highlights will due.Best part of ASG:
Kyrie Irving: 22 minutes, 14 assists
Wall/Kemba/IT/Lowry: 78 minutes, 13 assists
The "more true PGs of the east" were also all out assisted on an individual basis by: Harden(SG), Durant(SF), Marc Gasol(C), Draymond Green(PF), DeMar DeRozan(SG)

What about following baseball and giving the winning conference home advantage in the Finals? Would lessen the importance of regular season records a bit, but you'd have a really scrappy all-star game I bet.
