Stephen curry won that year, and his team finished with the best record.
Curry had a historical season. I don't think, I was trying to a suggest a player can't win MVP because their team has the best record. Just that a player shouldn't win that award just because their team had the best record.
Besides, we're in the analytical age of sports. There's a lot more data available to tell us who truly is the most valuable player, than just being lazy and handing it to the player that was on the team with the better record.
Curry had one of the best season's ever. His numbers and impact backed it up. I hate the piss ant, but he was deserving of MVP.
Careful now. Facts and all.
And btw Godfather its happened before.
Derrick rose won it cause his team record.
And I've been on record, numerous times, saying he's the worst player to have ever won the award.
He was not, at all, an MVP that season. He wasn't even close. He was a great young talent and was breaking out into stardom.
He should have never won that award though.
