I remember when George Burns made it to 100, which he had as a goal (he wrote a book "how to live to be 100" when he was in his 80s). He didn't live much past that.

Same with Bob Hope...well he didnt wrate a book about it, but he made it to 100

I mean he just disappeared then. Most of the time networks drag the decaying corpses of former stars out until they do pass away. Madden just got old and went out of the public eye. I can't imagine Fox didn't want him to at least make an appearance for the Thanksgiving Day game.

Its not that I believe an actual Mandela effect, just that my FB timeline was full of people thinking he was already dead.

Not gonna lie. I thought John Madden died a long time ago.

During a recent game before he passed, they ran a promo for the All Madden documentary, it wasn't clear from the promo if he was still alive, so I looked it up. My son did the same.

Madden was able to watch the documentary with his family in Christmas Day.

Maybe they all knew he didn't have long.

Sad, Saget was a legend. But one of my favorite comedians since the 80's. Its a shame he took time away from his comedy to make a truckload of money on 2 wholesome shows, he was hilarious.
