Time will tell. You are obviously calling your shot early. I agree with you that Rosen has a certain polish to him, that’s for sure.
However, I see long term success w Mayfield. I am not sure that Rosen would have been able to earn the respect of our team enough to be leader 1A. Now I can’t say that Mayfield will certainly get there either, but he’s got an edge to turn this thing around.

Obviously on the field play has to back up any off field chemistry or leadership. I just feel like Baker can develop into our leader of men, and I trust the process that not only had him as our #1, but also had him as #1 on at least a few teams’ boards.

I wanted Darnold or Rosen, but... watching that video, does that guy even have any deltoid muscles? I mean, he is about as slope-shouldered as anyone I've ever seen.
 
Beal ran a 4.4 40.

Dude is gonna get picked with a 2nd or 3rd rounder.
 
Browns have the first pick in each round, correct? If they really like Beal, I'd imagine they'd take a shot with the third rounder since they'll have NE's 3rd next year as well.

Eh, if they feel he has the potential and is worth losing a 2nd/3rd next season then its worth drafting him. We haven't won in a long time, so if this improves our team even more then draft the kid.
