Mike Trout
12-years, $430 million extension
How many times will they make the playoffs in those 12 years? 3 times?

I don’t think he will get 30 million annually. So 12 years 375-400 million to keep Lindor?
Trout, and even Machado and Harper, have almost 0 bearing on what Frankie is looking for.
Correa and Báez and what they get will dictate what he wants considerably.

So there’s a chance...?
Jk. We all know there isn’t.
How is that Lindor got twice as much as Baez in arbitration? It that number based upon their first 3 years, or just the previous year?

There definitely is.
People can believe what they want to believe, but there’s a very real chance...and that comes from a channel that I am very confident in.
As mentioned before, a few things need to fall into place first.
Arbitration is just a fluid event. Different people hearing the same case can come to different conclusions, so you can see discrepancies all over the league.
And all the things that you can imagine can be used as positives and negatives are used by both sides.
In Lindor’s case as opposed to Báez, it’s been his full body of work and, perhaps most important, the position he plays.
I guess I was under the impression that the previous year was "heavily weighted" in negotiations.
Lindor is undoubtedly the better player and has shown consistency that Baez has not, but interesting to me that they had similar 2018 seasons and Lindor received twice as much money.
Dolan is going to have to switch to Allegiant. Hope he packs light. So there’s a chance...?
Jk. We all know there isn’t.
