I really hope this isn’t a repeat of the 2001 season, because Couch was never the same after the beating he took that year, and he more or less lost his job to Holcomb after that.Forgive me as my memories are...odd.
But this team reminds me of the 2001 Browns and Baker is reminding me of what Couch had to endure that season with shit offensive line play and fucking bad luck.

This and they should have took the preseason a little more seriously. It might have been a better trade if we just traded Zeitler for cap space.
That trade is horrendously bad. I mean, so bad that I’m failing to think of a worse Browns one.
It’s equivalent, through 6 games, to the Cavs trading a 1st for Jiri Welsch.
Let's win a home game before we start penciling in wins on the schedule.
Maybe next year they should take preseason games a little more seriously,,,like use them to get ready for the season? A lot of the timing looks off. Here's how every Browns drive ended after the 3rd TD:
-OBJ drops the ball, leading to the blocked punt
-5 wide no huddle on 4 straight plays before an INT on a miscommunication. Chubb was averaging like 15 ypc at this point
-Baker throws a horrible pick in the endzone leading to a 14 point swing
-Chubb fumbles after a brutal holding penalty right around FG territory, Seattle then takes the lead
-Fake blindside block penalty sabotages the drive
-The absolute fiasco at the goalline
-20 yard TD drive
-Hilliard drops the pass into the defenders hands, game over
You just can't fuck up so many times and expect to beat anyone, let alone a top 5-10 team like Seattle. Just brutal execution on these drives and, at times, incredibly poor coaching.
