2019 Browns Rant Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
So a poor man’s Baltimore?

Incredibly poor, since they have wins against the defending champs and a road win at Seattle.

But sure, if that makes you feel better.

Needless to say, this team has an incredibly long way to go.

Imagine Baker with Baltimore's coaching staff...

That's really what the problem is and the main difference between the two franchises.

One has a coach with a Super Bowl ring on his finger. Keeps his team disciplined, is able to make adjustments and gameplan around his QB's insane athleticism.

The other is someone who should be coaching runningbacks in Arizona or Jacksonville.

That's what depresses me I think. No reason for this team to be struggling like the way it has been this season.

also. fuck baltimore. I hate that franchise and will always hate their fans.

Browns goal-to-go sequence from the 1-yard line:
1st & goal: Incomplete pass (penalty)
1st & G: Run for -1 yard
2nd & G: Run for 1 yards
3rd & G: Incomplete pass (penalty)
1st & G: Run for 0 yards
2nd & G: Incomplete pass
3rd & G: Run for 0 yards
4th & G: Run for -2 yards

So done with any and all RPO's. It's clear this team needs to be a lot less misdirection in their offense and a lot more simplified. It seems like every play, they are requiring Baker to do way too much and all of it is predicated on great timing. It's like a WCO offense combined with RPO reads. It's bizarre and poorly conceived. They would do well with throwing the majority of the plays out and going with a more simplified attack that requires less perfect timing and misdirection.

So that’s 2.

And the rest?

Antonio Calloway being inactive today was "disciplinary reasons" per MKC, but no specifics available...

Are irrelevant, since they have two wins to their name which suggest they're not just beating up bad teams.

Unlike Buffalo, but you go ahead and dig those heels in...

So they have two wins against current playoff teams.

Same as...Cleveland.

The Steelers are a current playoff team as well

Cool, but I was talking about Buffalo.

Like, what are you even arguing here other than just picking a nonsense fight?

Not to bust this up but the Titans are 5-5 and a half game back of a playoff spot and just beat KC.

They arent some hot garbage team. Not great but not some easy peasy win.
