2019 Cleveland Browns Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Titans look like a dried out dog turd

Please gimme that week 1 win. One of the most amazing things about these last 2 decades of bad football is how we ALWAYS start out in a hole. What do we have 1 or 2 wins since the return? Start out strong against a bad team at home. Yes please

I hate the fact that I have to tap the brakes by reminding myself that the Steelers window is still open at the moment.

If that michelin man motherfucker wasn't around? I would be more willing to go "Yeah they really have a shot this year"

Since the return we have only started the season 1-0 ONCE: 2004 against the Ravens with Jeff Garcia under center.

1-18-1 in season openers since 1999.

Vernon is such a damn good player, man. I feel like the general media hasn't given that acquisition the attention it deserves.

Not upper echelon ELITE, but easily the next step down. He's damn good at run defense and will bolster that for us easily. He has been among the top pass rushers in QB pressures for some time now. He was playing as the Giants #1 pass rusher - now he will be playing opposite Garrett and won't have to deal with as much scheming and double teaming. 1 on 1 he should get consistent pressure.

Not to mention he went against a division that had the absolute best LTs in the league (Jason Peters, Trent Williams, Tyron Smith). How much better should he be able to feast on the AFC North's RTs? If he can stay healthy, he might have a career year.

And with defensive players who are playmakers that will rack up interceptions on any errant throw (Ward, Schobert, Randall, Williams), this defense has the ability to be something TRULY special.

The sky is the limit for this team, man.

I have our defense as top 3, only bc we need some time to gel, and our offense as top 5, as we figure out how to deal with our OC’s philosophy of going deep when our OL has some holes.

Qb top 3, Chubb top 5, Njoku top 7 (run blocking holding him back), WRs top 1.

Just trying to be as realistic as possible.

Baker isn't probably top 3 this year, everything else seems plausible. Not a knock against Baker, but until Brees and Brady look human, they are 1 and 2, then there is Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and maybe even Matt Ryan who he probably doesn't pass this year.

Its coming, but not quite top 3.

Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Mahomes, Wilson, Luck, Ben, Rivers, Cam, Wentz... there are a lot of really good QB's in the league. I'm happy if Baker's second yet improvement puts him squarely in the 1st group of about 5-8 guys. Declaring him top 3 feels premature.

In no world can I consider Chubb a top 5 back in terms of talent. Maybe he has high production, but with a flawed offensive line, I'm taking the under.

It feels really difficult to catch the offenses of KC and LAR. New Orleans and New England haven't slipped in forever. I think teams like Pittsburgh are prime for regression, but a team like Philly or Houston could catapult into the elite ranks. If we finish as a top 5 scoring offense, Freddie and Monken have done a great job.

I'm really high on Njoku. No problem ranking him highly. I think his production will even be better than his ability this year.

Cooks/Woods/Kupp, Theilen/Diggs, Julio/Ridley are all competitors for best receiving corps in the league. But, I'm not gonna argue against us.

I’d like Vernon better if we didn’t have to give up Zeitler, who apparently was the one thing keeping our OL from being complete ass.
