Putting OSU any lower than 2 is simply indefensible, but there's no way ESecPN loses the shine of their "game of the century"

Pretty sure this will be anti-climatic as hell, , but if I had to make a bold prediction...tonight's meaningless #shockingtwist will be Penn State at 4 over Clemson.

Perhaps for a week or two. But if they beat penn state Michigan and win the big ten title game and look good doing it I think they can reclaim number one. Also sec title game with Georgia won’t be easy for bama or LSU. Bottom line is don’t worry about anyone but yourself.

i agree. that's what gets lost in the shuffle every year. hopefully Day continues to have an edge since he has everything to prove. also if he continues to hire great staff that isn't full of nepotism we should be good

I think the most likely way that happens is if somehow OSU gets in at 12-1, UGA wins out and Clemson goes undefeated. That way the #2-#3 could be OSU-UGA.

Only other way I see is if there's some mass chaos (LSU/Bama loser loses again and both B12 and PAC12 have no 1 loss teams, and PSU loses twice). Georgia wins the East and puts up a good fight vs the Bama/LSU winner. That could slot UGA at #4 and if OSU holds on to #1, OSU-UGA is #1-#4.

Problem is, if UGA wins out, they won't be #4, and I think if OSU wins out but both Bama and LSU lose (which they would if UGA wins out), I think OSU is #1.

Of course, if they are on opposite sides, they could meet in the championship game as well.

No way they put an undefeated SEC champ at #2 below an undefeated B1G champ. I don't care how well OSU looks.
