If OSU didn't play Wisconsin in the regular season, where is Wisconsin ranked right now? 6, right behind Georgia?

Frankly, I don't think there's much of a difference between Georgia and Wisconsin at all, and would not be the least bit surprised if Wisconsin beat them in a matchup.

I just find it hard to believe a 14 point win difference, in one day, against a non-common opponent, is really that big of a deal.

Wisconsin is better than Georgia. Georgia hasn’t scored all season, man.

Not watching this (show's not supposed to start until noon) but from the comments here it sounds like they are trying their best to build some suspense where there really is none. 1, 2 and 3 each won their conference title game easily and Oklahoma is the only candidate for number 4 so that's how it should go. Anything else will be just silly.

Can't drop OSU because they "only" beat the 8th ranked team easily on a neutral field.

This. I guess the only reason it makes sense to root to play OU is because you wouldn’t want to have to hear Clemson AND LSU; but if you’re not good enough to beat Clemson in round 1 then you’re sure as fuck not going to beat LSU anyway.

You always want the easier opponent, you always prefer less difficult opponents less times if possible

Beat each other. It’s about increasing your odds. Odds are much better playing ou and clemson/lsu than both clemson and lsu.
