Wanted to bench garland, but 2 games in and he has shown what he can do. Hoping for consistency, but man, this guy looks better every game. Dare I say, the cavs might have found their dynamic backcourt duo.

He’s been great the first two nights. Yes, he’s hitting threes and facilitating, but he’s also defended well - albeit against mediocre competition.

Very pleased to see everyone’s improvements so far, but Garland’s is the most exciting for me.

We NEED a guy who does the things he’s done in the first two games.

The young man put a ton of work in during the off-season. That’s translating to more power. So far so great. He is pretty silky.

Now I know why everyone is bitching about Drummond. If DG gave him 4 bunnies, then he was 3-17 on non-DG-assisted-attempts. Wtf.

A PG who has elite handle and can get to his spots need only to make his shots once he’s there. I saw this last year with Garland but everyone wanted to label him a bust. No a bust was Anthony Bennett a guy who couldn’t even get into positions to score.
Garland was effortlessly getting into NBA scoring positions, he was just missing the shots. He’s learning when to pass and when to shoot now and he’s shining
