I can at least understand, in the heat of the moment, opposing players and fans disliking a little showmanship because they're hurt about losing that individual match up, or even the game.
However, what I don't understand is the crowd that has no horse in the race, but will still be up in arms when a guy celebrates.
Personally, I think it's fun to watch athletes enjoy themselves, and celebrate accomplishments. Sports are supposed to be fun!Because respect.
That's also why its good that we attempt to injure people by throwing at them.
I think? Its all unclear.

Thing is, this Yankees team is really great. Remind me a lot of the 95 Indians. Their starting pitching isn't that bad. Not great, they have no sure fire ace. Great bullpen, and great offense.
The Astros team is just historically great.
I will pull for the Nats since they’ve never won it. Houston will be very tough to beat though.Going to be tough to decided if I want my Astros or my Nationals to win now that my Yankees look doomed.
I am a baseball fan but I haven't played in decades..Baseball players are the biggest snowflakes alive
im in shock anyone could side with McCann there. You’re probably a baseball player or something
The first round of that 2011 draft class is absolutely bonkers.outside of Rendon (who should be recognized as a megastar)
As good as this Yankee offense is, it doesn't sniff the '95 Indians.
Aaron Judge led the Yanks with a 141 wRC+ this year while the '95 Indians had Belle (173), Thome (158), and Ramirez (145) all better than that. Only offensive weak spot in '95 was Omar.
Pitching wise, they are very similar with the Indians having just a little more starting depth. A healthy Severino likely makes up that difference though, and probably even gives them the edge if he's ace-caliber as he has been in the past.
