2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The sad thing about Brown is he was on his way to becoming a top 5, potentially top 3 all-time WR.

I think is was @Jack Brickman or @The Wizard of Moz that said it a while back, but I'm definitely a believer now in the theory that he has CTE after that Burfict hit. Everything he's done since then has been more and more off the wall.

I mean he still can be in the right situation.

Threatening your boss with physical violence is always a good idea.

He is very sane. Perfectly.

Switching to the game tonight, I feel like the NFL picked a fun matchup to kick things off this season. Sure Green Bay and Chicago are a rivalry, but both teams have an offense that is supposed to be greatly improved. Nagy is implementing everything he learned in Kansas City with a young core. LaFleur was the prized disciple of McVay who now gets Aaron Rodgers and a personnel that was supposed to be far more talented than the coaching allowed them to be in 2018. Hopefully we see a high scoring affair.

Ya, Brown deserves the "Kap treatment" now. Sad waste of talent w/ no humility.

On tonight, agreed, I'm looking forward to this game and I mainly just watch Browns games. Hyped for this year!

I wouldn’t consider myself a “Trubisky believer” per se; I think he has some serious limitations in throwing to certain areas of the field — e.g. his...left. However, he’s an excellent athlete working with an underrated offensive mind.

Did I use e.g. correctly? Stay tuned.

Possibly. He might be able to string together a T.O. like career where he just bounces from team to team, produces by ultimately wears out his welcome quickly.

But I mean....he's different. He led the league year after year in targets and still he bitched.

A. Khalil Mack just kind of humiliates OL.
B. Rodgers looks rather erratic and kind of bad. Can’t blame a knee injury yet.
C. Trubisky doesn’t look good either.
D. Stop with the fucking skycam. We figured out how to televise football. Leave it alone.
E. David Montgomery is damn impressive thus far.
