2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mahomes with your run-of-the-mill 18-26, 313 yard passing, four TD first half. Jesus.

So he should be keeping this up for another week.

Well, the fact that the other team this week will be actually fielding an offense doesn't bode well.

Yes, KC"s defense is bad, but their O can actually stay on the field, and will put Lamar in much weaker field position/tougher clock management situations.

I don't think the notion that Jackson will have more possessions to continue his strong play is the argument you think it is.

That's not to say this Chiefs defensive front is every bit the tough matchup for the Baltimore OL. The Raiders are totally ignoring Jacobs at this point, Baltimore cannot make that mistake.

This is embarrassing if the Rams can't beat the Saints without Brees. It speaks volumes about Goff if they can't.

Looks like Saints are in trouble. Thought maybe they could get by. Tough break. Losing Brees, then that shitty call by the refs.

I think with jackson? The situation he went to really helped his career.

It's not that he was bad to begin with or anything, but he's with a good organization that has stability that will allow him to continue to grow as a player.

Joe Flacco, Trent Dilfer, Elvis Grbac, Kyle Boller, Chris redman and late stage Steve "air" McNair all have had at least a few good games (if not seasons) with that team as a result

He's not a system qb by any stretch mind you. I would dare say early in this career? He's looking like he could very well be better than Flacco.

But his story to me is one that stresses the importance of stability in the NFL. If you find a front office and coaching staff that works? Try like hell not to "fix" it.

Broncos got hosed. Bullshit roughing the passer call on that final drive by Chicago.

Steelers are utterly fucked if Big Ben is out for extended amount of time. Rudolph looked awful and the Steelers are simply not as talented as was previously thought they were.

Baltimore running a not high school offense is big trouble. I dont know if the Browns can beat them this year.

It's still early.
We don't know how the Browns are going to look like quite yet.

I think the Ravens, Patriots, and Chiefs are your early super bowl contenders.

And I fucking hate typing that sentence (i'm "fine" with the chiefs, but the other two...ugh)

as an oklahoma/oklahoma state fan, let me be frank. Rudolph had a chance to be very good, and just hasnt as of yet been able to put it all together. If he ever puts it together the steelers have something. But there is a reason he fell to the 3rd round, and at this point it seems unlikely that everything will suddenly click

Not me.

Besides Tyreek of course (and Frank Clark, etc.) the organization and fans are essentially the NFL mirror images of the Warriors.
