2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Jimmy Graham looks so slow now. He used to be so elite. He can still play but man he looks slow as hell.

I tend to think that the 49ers are an excellent example of what a good coach can do.

Their rebuild has worked with fewer tools than the Browns and their offense has fewer weapons.

Their Defense is a brilliant example of scheming to the strengths of the players they have, who are not chopped liver, but not the greatest squad either beyond Bosa DB and Sherman.

And yet....

I don't know...even though JimmyG isn't being asked to do much, the gap between him and CJ Blowhard/Mullens is almost as big as the gap between Peyton Manning/Andrew Luck and Orlovsky/Painter that we all saw in 2011, when the Colts were in their "tank year."

It's not so much that JimmyG is already at a HOF level, as Beathard/Mullins were really, really, really bad last year.

Kenyan Drake to the Cardinals.

They really must not feel great about the injury prospects of Johnson or Edmonds.

Browns are better than both of these teams

Aqib Talib probably isn’t having a great day.

He's probably done soon anyways. Probably never plays in MIA at 32 or 33, I think?

Anti-climactic day.

Go git 'im Ph...erm....Buddy Boy?! :beguiled:

Although in seriousness, this is probably like when we thought we found the "Aaron Rodgers loophole" 2 years ago, where we supposedly would've been able to claim him off of waivers when he went on IR, but there was an exception, which is regularly granted in these cases.

In light of all of the "clock runoff" coverage the past few days, it is hard to believe that Belicheat would not be aware of such an exception in Gordon's case.

Welp. He's officially out of Foxboro.

Wonder who will put in a claim, if anyone.

Bungles/Fins don't want to mess up the tank, although time and again he's barely moved the needle in the positive direction in the W/L column.
