Kluber returning, Carrasco as a weapon in the pen, Luplow vs Lefties, and fixing Reyes are things I'm looking forward to.

Reyes might need to get bumped up so he gets pitches. They're pitching him perfectly because nobody is behind him. That's my guess. He wasn't batting 7th or 8th in SD.

Put Santana in front of him, Jose behind him and see what gives. He's been very productive before the Indians.

I don’t think that’s the problem. Moving Reyes up in the lineup won’t help him swinging at pitches that are way out of the strike zone.

Why do you, and others, think Reyes is struggling because he's getting pitched around? That's silly. He's flailing at multiple pitches every AB that were never in the zone to begin with. Pitchers don't need to throw strikes to get him to chase regardless of where he's slotted in the lineup.

Pitch recognition is an issue with him, even prior to the trade. Until he's willing to take a walk, he can't bat in the top half of the order-- K:BB ratio of 22:2 since he came over.

I think he's gonna be really good but he's really struggling. I think moving him up in the lineup will only exacerbate the issue.
